And since everybody is talking about Ford and that goofy V6 thing they’re working on, I’m going to talk a little bit about Corvette. Specifically the Corvette’s first ever trip to Circuit de la Sarthe.

You see, back in 1960, Briggs Cunningham took some production Corvettes, turned them into race cars, and raced them in the ultimate endurance event. All but one car retired, and the last one needed — literally — pounds and pounds of ice to even finish.

No idea. I’m not sure if WEC puts their races online afterward or not. If you have satellite/cable and Fox Sports 1, you should have access to the various channels in the Fox Sports GO app. That’s how I watched most of the race last year and it’s the only reason I keep it installed on my phone.

I keep hoping that GM/Chevrolet will just lose their minds and start an LMP1 program. Probably a better chance of them being an F1 engine builder than that.
